Powerful Measure Of Our Drone Services
LiDAR services can be used for many commercial applications like surveying complex and vegetated sites, which can then be modelled and analysed. The measure of these drone services gets stretched sometimes when an unusual project is presented.

Measure Our Drone Services With New Challenges
Every so often, we get to work on different kinds of fun and rewarding projects that put us outside of our comfort zone. We recently got to measure the skills of our drone services while working with GSR Productions and the Locations and Art departments on The Lord of The Rings - The Rings of Power.
We travelled to some of the most incredible, secret spots in our beautiful country and were privileged to turn some of New Zealand's most scenic landscapes into digital representations.
Using high-resolution imagery from ground and air-based LiDAR combined with data from our drone services, we could measure the areas and turn out survey-accurate digital outputs in the shortest possible time, frequently overnight.
During our involvement in this project, we witnessed only pieces of the creative process and soon realised how intricate the planning had to be for an undertaking of this magnitude. Our contribution was just the beginning of the journey from original content creation through to set-building and, ultimately, filming.
Watching the finished product of Season 1 released on Amazon Prime has been fantastic. We have revelled in recognising our contribution to the design of some of the most stunning sets ever created. Our appreciation for the creativity and hard work of every person involved is boundless.
Measure The Way Forward For Drone Services
Something else that we have gained a massive appreciation for is the dedication of our team. And our ability to rise to a challenge. And as we are about to embark on yet another secret venture (sorry, but we aren't allowed to share any details yet - but watch this space), we would like to extend a challenge to you.
Our challenge is this - do you have a project that sounds over-ambitious, or as someone said, "you're crazy, that can't be done"? Well, we must just be crazy enough to try!
